Farewell to Kaki Isles

With a heavy heart, I announce the kaki isles will be closing down on 6 Dec 09 due to various kaki isles founders deciding to move on and give up their share of the sim.

I know some of us have fond memories of this little haven since it started in May 2007. Before we lose it forever, lets have a little farewell gathering here in Kaki isles on 30 Nov ( Monday) night at 9.30pm. The old timers will surely remember the regular Monday nights parties we used to have here... so lets relive the memories one last time.

The new Kaki Isles ....Kampung Kaki - 12 Jul 2009

With a magical click, the whole terrain was transformed in a second and lots of hard work from Domch, Kaki Isles has been transformed into a paradise land ...to become Kampong Kakis.

Pictures and words cannot express fully how beautiful our sim has become....got to experience it first hand by going in-world.

Its time for a change now after two years...

We are going to revamp the whole SIM and we are going for a unified look...so this is how Kaki Isles looks like before we change it... good bye old look. The new one will be put up next week...
Its good to have a change.

CNY 09 Fireworks - 25 Jan 09

A big THANKS to Kenyang and JunZ for their fireworks to light up the skies in Kaki Isles on Chinese New Year's eve.
We have 22 people coming over to view the spectacular fireworks and we also have our personal fireworks launcher to play with if still not enough.

CNY 2009 Reunion Dinner - 24 Jan 09

We had a simple reunion dinner gathering at my place....

JunZ is the Cai Shen Ye...giving out ang pow to lucky kakis who happen to be sitting at the right table , right spot at the right time.

Luxe has decided to rent out her parcel as she hardly comes to SL anymore. Glantor has rented her parcel starting from Jan 09 onwards...

Christmas Party - 22 Dec 08

Gosh, has it been that long since I updated the blog?

Geesh...I have been so slack...:)

Not many parties on Kaki Isles since I decided to take a break from hosting the regular Monday nite parties..

So its quite a nice get together when we decided to hold a Christmas Party for this year.


JunZ Darkstone DJ and hosted the treasure hunt and raffle ball event. About 5000L worth of gifts and Linden dollars were given out to some lucky kakis during the party.

Merry Christmas to all Kakis in SL!
